Create a campaign for your Play Store app which will appear on Google Display Network, Google Search, Google Play Store and YouTube.
You need this to get it done:
Google Ads Account
If you already have a Google Ads account, you can link it to your Google Play developer account. If not, you can create a new one.
The internal name for your campaign.
You can optimise your campaign for one of the following options: Install Volume, In-app Actions or Target ROAS. (Note: Target ROAS is currently in beta.)
Four independent lines of text that can be rotated in your ads in any order (each idea can be a maximum of 25 characters long, but it's a good idea to have one of two of them less than 20 characters long to avoid truncation.)
Examples: "Fun and satisfying!" "30 levels to explore" "How far can you go?" "Play with friends!"
Choose which location(s) to target with your campaign (your ads will only show in countries where your app is available to download.)
The language(s) your customers speak.
Maximum number of images: 20
File format: .jpg/.gif/.png
Maximum file size: 150KB
Dimensions: Landscape is best for native ads whilst portrait is best for interstitial ads. Other valuable formats include: 320 x 50 pixels, 320 x 480 pixels, and 300 x 250 pixels.
Maximum number of videos: 20
Must be hosted on YouTube.
Can be landscape, portrait or square.
HTML5 Asset(s) (optional)
Maximum number of HTML5 assets: 20
Maximum .zip file size: 1MB (no more than 40 files)
Dimensions, 300 x 250 pixels (fixed size), 320 x 50 pixels (fixed size), 480 x 320 pixels (landscape interstitial, variable size) or 320 x 480 pixels (portrait interstitial, variable size.)
Set a target cost-per-install (this is the average amount you'd like to spend each time someone installs your app or opens it for the first time) (this is not the bid amount for in-app actions.)
Enter the maximum amount of money you are willing to spend each day on your ad campaign.
