If you would like to work with PlayStation on a University/Academia programme, you must apply to become a Sony Interactive Entertainment third party licensee by filling out a Licensing Enquiry Form.

Indicate which PlayStation consoles you interested in developing games/applications for.
Proposed Distribution Method
Indicate whether you are intending to distribute your games/applications via physical media, digital media or both.
Proposal Details (Europe)
Fill out the Proposal Details template provided by PlayStation on the Licensing Enquiry Form (maximum file size 10MB) and if you wish you can also attach any supporting documentation (file format must be .doc/.xls/.ppt/.pdf and the maximum file size is 10MB.)
Application Materials (America)
Upload your application materials documentation. The document must include:
Softology (Prior development experience & Product catalogue)
Playstation Development & Product Plan (6-12 Month product plan, Titles, Release dates, Projects)
Technical Capacity (Proprietary engine? Sony licensed middleware engine?)
Key Personnel Details (Number of employees, Background of key staff members)
(File format must be .doc/.xls/.pdf and the maximum file size is 10MB)
Proof of Legal Entity (Europe)
You must provide a .pdf version of an official document identifying all the Directors of your entity, this could include one or more of the following:
Certificate of Incorporation
Latest Annual Return
Copy of your entry on Commercial Register (or equivalent) within your country
(Maximum file size is 10MB)
Existing SIE Publisher? (America)
Indicate whether you are an existing Sony Interactive Entertainment Publisher in a different territory (Europe, Japan & Asia or Korea.)
Main Area of Interest (America)
Indicate whether your main area of interest is game development or non-game app development.

Select the legal status of your company (Public Company, Private Company, Partnership or Sole Trader.)

The full registered name of your company.
Date of Incorporation (Europe)
The date when your company was incorporated, in dd-mmm-yyyy format.
Place of Incorporation (Europe)
Where your company was incorporated.

If your company previously went by a different name(s), indicate so here.

The first and last name of the main director/officer of your company.

The first and last names of all of your company's shareholders.
